With an entrepreneurial spirit and a thirst for new challenges, in 2017 I co-founded a company, Polygram Digital, and founded my first product from scratch – Vegly.
Vegly is an online vegetarian meal planner web app SaaS product. Customers can use our meal plans and customise them in the web app to create a library of their own meal plans, using our large database of recipes and nutrition information. I am responsible for every aspect of product ownership and management for the website and web app, from conception and strategy, through roadmapping and backlog management, to support and ongoing iterations. Since the release of the MVP, there have been over 2,000 sign ups with a conversion rate to sign up from the website of 30%. The latest release was focussed on improving engagement and retention, which each increased respectively by 50% and 80%. Working on this product allows me to expand both my horizontal and vertical skills as a business analyst, product owner and entrepreneur.
In previous experience, I was also involved as a business systems analyst to map out new technology and processes for a larger scale, government-funded greenfield startup, REDISA. I was responsible for identifying and mapping business processes and use case models, and mapping processes as per the Oracle Unified Method to the corresponding Oracle technology stack products.
